Enjoy hand select teas and a bountiful selection of savory and sweet delights prepared by our in house pastry chef. The home is decked with award winning holiday decor & all five parlor fireplaces are lit to add to the inviting charm.  The Victorian dressed staff guides guests through a historic journey sharing the story of this beautifully restored Nationally Registered Historic Property along with with Victorian antidotes of "Tea & History" .

Our Cabaret series features an amazingly talented cast of singers, dancers, musicians & entertainers.  Guests can enjoy a delectable prix-fixe dinner at the lakefront Baker House 1885 & a 50 minute Musical Cabaret show performed in the Crystal Ballroom at Maxwell Mansion 1856 ( located just 1 block away).   The new 1880's Apothecary Bar and Garden Lounge provides cocktail service before, during & after all shows.  There are  two performances performed nightly with both combination dinner or show only options;

Three Course Dinner at the Baker House & Musical Show $60.++ per guest /  Show Only $28++

The Nationally Registered Historic Property with panoramic views of Geneva Lake and English-style gardens puts the Baker House in a class all by itself, offering the ONLY lakefront garden and mansion open to the public for private affairs. Recently acquired by the owners of the luxury Baker House 1885, this historically significant Italianate Mansion offers an exquisite and historic location for your important day. Built in 1856, the Maxwell Mansion was the first mansion built in Lake Geneva and has long been host to dignitaries and socialites over its history and is now available for your historic event. Comfortably accommodating up to 150 guests, with an intimate library, fire-lit receiving room, crystal laden ballroom, perennial gardens with fountain, 1880’s Apothecary Bar and 1920’s Speakeasy Lounge, the Maxwell Mansion is a dream location for weddings and celebrations of all sizes.  There are also 26 completely renovated sleeping rooms in the  Historic Mansion & "barn urban" Carriage House.
